Student Registration Form Template
A student registration form is completed when an accepted applicant formally enrols. Unlike the admission form (which assesses eligibility), the registration form populates the school's official student records and is the basis for class allocation, fee billing, and national examination registration. It typically contains more detail than the admission form and may include document checklists.
When to use: Use after a student has been offered and accepted a place — at the start of each academic year for new students, or when a transfer student joins mid-year.

Best Practices
Assign the Student ID at registration, not at admission — this ensures every enrolled student has a unique identifier before they set foot in class.
Use a document checklist column so the registrar can mark which documents have been received and which are still outstanding, avoiding the need for a separate tracking spreadsheet.
Record the fee package explicitly on the registration form — this prevents billing disputes mid-year when parents claim they were not told which package applied.
Capture the bus route at registration for transport-using schools. Late additions to routes cause operational headaches for drivers and create safety gaps.
In RedeemOS, registration data flows directly into the Finance module (fee billing), Transport module (route allocation), and Hostel module (room allocation) — no re-entry needed.
