Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the RedeemOS School Management Platform ("RedeemOS", "the Platform", "we", "us") operated by RedeemOS Ltd.

By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using RedeemOS, the subscribing school and its authorised users agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

RedeemOS is intended for use by schools, nurseries, and educational institutions, and their authorised administrators, teachers, finance officers, parents, and students.

The school is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate account information, and for all activity that occurs under accounts it creates, including staff, parent, and student logins issued through the Platform.

Each user is responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential. RedeemOS must be notified immediately of any suspected unauthorised access via support@redeemos.com.

RedeemOS is offered on a subscription basis across Starter, Growth, Professional, and Enterprise plans, billed monthly or yearly. Plan details, student caps, and pricing are described on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. Yearly subscriptions are charged upfront at the start of the billing cycle.

Payments are processed via Paystack, supporting cards, mobile money, and bank transfer. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Schools that exceed their plan's student cap are billed for additional students at the applicable overage rate rather than being blocked from the Platform.

RedeemOS offers a 21-day free trial with full core feature access for up to 100 students, with no credit card required to begin.

At the end of the trial period, continued access requires selecting a paid subscription plan. We reserve the right to limit, suspend, or modify trial features at our discretion to prevent abuse.

Users agree not to:

- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another school's data or any part of the Platform not made available to them
- Upload content that is defamatory, abusive, or infringes the rights of any third party
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform, including through scraping, reverse engineering, or load testing without prior written consent
- Use the Platform to transmit malware or engage in any activity that could harm RedeemOS or its users

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions.

As between RedeemOS and the subscribing school, the school retains ownership of all student, staff, and parent data entered into the Platform ("School Data"). RedeemOS acts as a data processor and processes School Data only as instructed by the school, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

The school is responsible for ensuring it has the necessary rights and consents to enter School Data into the Platform, including data relating to minors, and for compliance with applicable data protection and education laws in its jurisdiction.

Upon termination of a subscription, School Data is retained for 90 days to allow export, after which it is permanently deleted, as described in our Privacy Policy.

RedeemOS and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and underlying technology. These Terms do not grant any rights to RedeemOS's intellectual property except the limited right to access and use the Platform as set out herein.

Schools retain all rights to content and data they upload to the Platform.

We aim to maintain high availability of the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where practicable. RedeemOS is not liable for downtime caused by factors outside its reasonable control, including third-party infrastructure outages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedeemOS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to use of the Platform.

RedeemOS's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the fees paid by the school in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

A school may cancel its subscription at any time through the billing settings or by contacting support@redeemos.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, after which access to the Platform is suspended.

RedeemOS may suspend or terminate access to the Platform if a school materially breaches these Terms, fails to pay applicable fees, or engages in conduct that we reasonably believe poses harm to the Platform or other users, subject to reasonable notice where practicable.

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to the Platform, legal requirements, or our practices. Material changes will be communicated to subscribing schools by email with at least 30 days notice before taking effect.

Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
